Cancellation policy: 

1. Cancellation by Attendee: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to the designated event contact. Cancellations received 30 days or more prior to the event start date will receive a full refund, less any applicable processing fees. Cancellations received more than 7 days before the event will receive a partial refund of 50%. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than 7 days before the event or for no-shows.
2. Substitutions: Registrations may be transferred to another individual at no additional cost if requested at least 7 days before the event. The original registrant must provide complete contact details of the substitute attendee.
3. Event Cancellation or Changes by Organizer: The organizer reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation by the organizer, registrants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a future event. The organizer is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by attendees (e.g., travel or accommodation).
4. Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days after confirmation of cancellation. Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed. 
5. Special Circumstances: Requests for refunds due to documented emergencies may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the organizer’s discretion.
6. Acceptance of Policy: By registering for the event, participants acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy.
